DMK is a professional enzyme treatment that combines customized skin preparation, an enzyme masque and post-treatment care. The approach is chosen around the skin you have on the day of your appointment, with cosmetic goals such as a smoother-looking texture and a more even-looking complexion.
A custom facial may focus on immediate cleansing, hydration or relaxation. DMK can be considered when you want a structured treatment plan for longer-term appearance goals. You can also compare dermaplaning for surface-focused exfoliation.
Your DMK Enzyme Therapy Appointment
Anna selects the professional protocol according to your skin condition, goals and DMK level. Specific products and preparation vary.
- Skin consultation and assessment. Anna reviews your current skin condition, concerns, goals and skincare routine to select an appropriate treatment approach.
- Cleanse and skin preparation. Your skin is cleansed and prepared for the selected protocol.
- Customized pre-enzyme treatment. Appropriate exfoliation or targeted preparation may be incorporated according to your skin. Every client does not receive the same exfoliant or automatic extractions.
- Targeted DMK products. Professional products are selected where indicated by your skin condition and treatment goals.
- DMK Enzyme Masque. The selected masque is professionally prepared and applied to the appropriate treatment area. It progressively firms as it sets; tell Anna how it feels.
- Masque removal. After the treatment period, the firm masque is softened and carefully removed.
- DMK finishing protocol. The appointment continues with professional DMK finishing products selected for your skin after masque removal.
- Protection and home-care plan. Appropriate protection/SPF is applied where indicated. Discuss home care, frequency and future treatments with Anna according to your goals.
What Does the DMK Enzyme Masque Feel Like?
The masque develops a distinct tightening sensation as it sets. Some clients find that unfamiliar. Temporary redness or tightness can occur, and responses vary. Speak up if you feel uncomfortable so your esthetician can assess your comfort during treatment.
